서산시 성연면에서 저출생 극복을 위한 지역사회의 지속적인 노력이 1500번째 아기가 탄생이라는 기적을 만들었다. 전국적으로 지방인구 감소와 저출생 위기가 심화하는 가운데, 면 단위 지역에서 이뤄낸 매우 이례적이고 뜻깊은 성과다.성연면은 25일 면사무소에서 '도담도담성연' 사업을 통해 1500번째로 태어난 성연면 '도담이'의 탄생을 축하하는 기념식을 개최했다. 행사에는 이미정 성연면장을 비롯한 면 직원들과 김선호 성연면 주민자치회장이 참석해 출산 가정에 따뜻한 축하 인사를 전달했다.면은 출산 가정에 주민자치회원들의 재능기부로 제작된 '아기 이름 캘리그라피 액자'(지도강사 가숙진)와 다양한 육아용품이 담긴 '도담도담 선물꾸러미'를 증정했다.'도담도담성연'은 성연면에 주소를 두고 출생신고를 하는 가정에 선물꾸러미를 지원하며 출산 친화적 분위기를 조성하는 성연면 기관·단체의 대표 출산 장려 사업이다.2020년 사업 시작 이후 2024년 1000번째 탄생에 이어, 올해 1500번째 도담이를 맞이하며 가시적인 결실을 거두고 있다.특히 성연면은 올해 7월 31일 기준 월평균 약 21.5명의 신생아가 태어나며 서산시 전체 출생아 수의 26%를 차지하고 있다. 인구 소멸 위기로 출생아가 급감하는 전국 면 단위의 일반적인 현상과 달리, 성연면의 이러한 지속적인 출생아 수 증가세는 전국적으로도 보기 드문 모범 사례로 평가받는다.이미정 성연면장은 "전국적인 저출생 위기 속에서 성연면이 1,500번째 도담이를 맞이하게 되어 매우 기쁘고 뜻깊다"며 "앞으로도 지역사회가 함께 아이를 키우는 출산 친화적 환경을 조성하여 '아이 낳고 키우기 좋은 성연면'을 만들어 가는 데 최선을 다하겠다"고 말했다.덧붙이는 글 | 이 기사는 충청뉴스라인에도 실립니다.。    R. Madhavan has finally addressed the wave of polarising reactions surrounding Dhurandhar, and his response is calm, confident and rooted in experience. As debates intensify online over the film’s violence and narrative choices, the actor says he saw the backlash coming long before release. This is because he has lived through similar storms in the past.     In a conversation with Puja Talwar, Madhavan drew clear parallels between the response to Dhurandhar and the reactions to two of his biggest films, Rang De Basanti and 3 Idiots. Both titles are now considered modern classics, but Madhavan reminded fans that they also faced scepticism, doubts and even poor early ratings. “From the beginning, I knew this was going to impact society. People will give it bad ratings at first,” he said. “The people who gave two ratings have become irrelevant. We are still in the industry. For him, Dhurandhar simply follows a familiar pattern: films that challenge, provoke or diverge from expectations often face resistance before being embraced. “When this happened with Dhurandhar, I thought, been there, done that,” Madhavan added, unfazed by early negativity.     He was especially critical of reviewers and online commentators who declare films “disasters” within hours of release. Madhavan believes such snap judgments rarely account for context, intention or storytelling depth. “As actors, we dream of these situations..when people say it’s stupid, nothing will happen… and then it blows up. The film crossed ₹200 crore domestically in its first week and surpassed ₹300 crore worldwide shortly after, cementing itself as one of the year’s biggest commercial successes.
